A vital gateway to Newton County is our James H Easom Field Airport (M23), formerly O’Keefe Field. Located one mile southeast of Newton, the airport has one asphalt runway, Runway 14/32, which measures 3,000 feet in length by 75 feet in width. It is the only public air terminal in Newton County.
